We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Trainer for Sleep Central. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing new hire CSS personnel, monitoring performance and providing feedback to management on areas of opportunities, successes and failures for each new hire.  Provides constructive feedback and assists trainer in developing plans for immediate and long-term performance improvements.  Completes any and all tasks given by the Department Supervisor and/or Manager.

  • Actively supports quality assurance monitoring by reviewing live and recorded calls
  • Document reviewed calls utilizing Call Scoring sheet to eliminate non-conformance to operational policies and procedures
  • Conducts quality assurance monitoring for all team members on a frequent and ongoing basis to ensure patient satisfaction and conformance with process requirements and quality standards
  • Assists trainer during larger training sessions
  • Develops team members and responds to questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Provides direction and motivation to ensure they have the necessary tools and information to effectively perform their job
  • Ensures associates adhere to defined schedules
  • Ensures team members are on task
  • Ensures associates are practicing safe work habits, ensuring a safe work environment
  • Monitors and evaluates inbound calls and performance
  • Proactively solves problems and provides timely resolution to ensure minimal impact on patient and employee satisfaction
  • Identifies the most appropriate course of action for problem resolution and effectively communicates plans to those impacted
  • Promotes a supportive environment in which employees are encouraged to solve problems and address patient issues
  • Performs other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversees new hire inbound CSS for 30 days after the new hire has successfully completed the 3-4 week training course

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three years of supervisory experience and prior work experience in a team-oriented environment is preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record in the state in which you reside (where applicable)
  • Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation

  • Strong self-motivation and time-management skills

Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting 80%, walking, standing 20%, talking or listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
  • Lifting minimum of 10lbs

Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities

  • Understanding use of all applicable home medical equipment and supplies
  • Using common office equipment (e.g., phone, copier, fax, computer, etc.)
  • Internet, including knowledge of email transmission and communication
  • Internet navigation and research
  • Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, etc.

  • Office

Departmental Interaction

  • This role will interact with all Rotech field positions including senior management
  • Works closely with the Supervisor who is responsible for their day-to-day activities
  • Close communication with all other location personnel should be maintained to ensure consistent communication on patient and employee matters
